Daniel co-led the team that successfully completed the takeover of Brisa in 2012 and the de-listing in 2013 and, as member of the Executive Committee, has been and continues to be involved in the day-to-day management of the Brisa business. Prior to joining Arcus, Daniel was with Babcock & Brown’s European Infrastructure Team in Lisbon. Before Babcock & Brown, Daniel held senior management positions with Credip – Instituição Financeira de Crédito and Caixa Banco de Investimento, where Daniel served as head of project finance, having direct responsibility for the debt and equity structuring of all of the bank’s project finance transactions in Portugal between 2000 and 2008. Daniel started his career with Geral de Depositos in Lisbon. Daniel holds a Management Degree from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (Portugal).

Prior to joining Arcus, Jack was with Babcock & Brown where he held various positions within the European Infrastructure Team, European Real Estate Team and Principal Investments Group in London. Mark Cresswell

Biography
Mark joined Arcus in 2019. During his career Mark has held a wide range of infrastructure financing service roles. Mark started his career at JPMorgan where he worked in UK M&A and was part of the team advising and executing the merger between Lattice and National Grid. In the derivatives team, also at JPMorgan, Mark ran the risk management group covering the bank’s private equity and infrastructure clients and latterly ran risk management for all UK corporate clients across rates, FX, equities and inflation. Mark worked on the risk management of Eircom (Babcock and Brown) and the public to private of Forth Ports. In 2014 Mark joined Renshaw Bay, a structured credit hedge fund, and latterly looked at mezzanine lending opportunities in renewables space in the UK. At Haitong, China’s second largest investment bank, Mark ran the UK M&A team and advised on various renewables projects in Scotland, particularly around capital structure optimisation. Flemming Dalgaard

Flemming joined the Arcus’ independent advisory panel in 2018. An expert in the European maritime industry, he works with the Arcus Transport origination team assessing specific opportunities and advising on market dynamics. Flemming is an experienced chief executive and non-executive director with over 30 years of general management and commercial as well as operational experience in the maritime industry and logistics sector, ranging from global multinationals to start-ups. Flemming started his career with A.P.Moller-Maersk in 1986 as a management trainee and spent the following 21 years there in a variety of roles including Deputy Managing Director Maersk Line Germany, Managing Director of Maersk Line UK & Ireland as well as Group Vice President WOC. He spent a further eight years with DP World as CEO for the Europe and Russia regions, followed by the position as Group Senior Vice President responsible for Global Strategy. Following DP World Flemming joined Gulftainer as Chief Executive responsible for all Group activities including Port, Trucking and Logistics activities. As well as being a Chartered Fellow of the IoD and a Chartered Fellow of the UK Institute for Logistics and Transport, Flemming is also currently an adviser to the APMC Africa infrastructure fund and a non-executive director for Harwich Haven Authority and the Danish company Shipping SDK.

In her current role as Chief Commercial Officer at Colt Technology Services, Keri leads global teams across sales, presales and marketing, as well as working closely with the wider organisation to ensure Colt delivers on its vision of being the most customer oriented business in the industry. Before joining Colt, Keri was Ciena’s Vice President and General Manager EMEA, responsible for guiding Ciena’s EMEA service provider and enterprise customers, as well as partners, as they adapt to accommodate high-capacity applications and services, such as those needed for cloud-based services and video. Prior to Ciena, Keri worked in multiple roles for Lucent Technologies as an Account Executive, Senior Systems Engineer and Senior Consultant. She maintained an S.S.B.I. (Single Scope Background Investigation) security clearance while working for Hughes Aircraft as a Network Engineer responsible for the evaluation, implementation and maintenance of data infrastructure for the global military theater. Keri received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management Information Systems (MIS) from New Mexico State University. Professor Klaus-Dieter joined Arcus’ independent industry advisor panel in 2018. He works with the Arcus Energy Origination team assessing specific opportunities and analysing the market. Klaus-Dieter is a highly regarded senior adviser and an expert on energy, infrastructure and utilities, with a particular focus on energy transition. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and is honorary professor at the Technische Universität Clausthal lecturing on power economics. His research and consulting activities deal with the transformation of the power sector in Germany and beyond. Klaus-Dieter started his career in the utility space in the mid ‘90s. From 1998 to 2001 he served as a CEO for Wesertal GmbH, a utility owned by the Finnish group Fortum. He went on to join EON in 2001. He was appointed as a Board Member and later as CEO of Avacon AG. From 2006 to 2010 he led the power businesses of EON across continental Europe serving as CEO of EON Energie AG, based in Munich. From 2010 to 2013 he served as Chief Technology Officer and a Member of the Management Board at EON SE. At EON SE he re-invented EON’s venture capital activities and founded EON Connecting Energies, a business for distributed energy solutions. From 2015 until the end of 2016 Klaus-Dieter served as CEO of Encavis AG (formerly also known as Capital Stage AG), a publicly listed company and Germany’s largest independent operator of wind and solar farms. As non-executive, Klaus-Dieter currently serves on various boards of directors of leading energy groups, including Fortum Corp. (Deputy Chairman), ABB Deutschland AG (Supervisory Board), Axpo Power AG (Supervisory Board), and Encavis AG (Supervisory Board).

Biography
Nicola was part of the team that founded Arcus in 2009. She led the team that completed the takeover of Forth in 2011 and was Asset Manager for Forth from 2009 to 2012. Prior to joining Arcus, Nicola was with Babcock & Brown’s European Infrastructure Team in London and Sydney. Prior to Babcock & Brown, Nicola was with Australian Industry Development Corporation (AIDC) in Sydney. Nicola started her career with Baker & McKenzie and Clayton Utz in Sydney. Alex joined Arcus in 2019 as Senior Legal Counsel. Alex provides legal advice and input on a broad range of matters across Arcus’ business, including in relation to the ongoing management of existing assets, new investment opportunities and deal execution. Prior to joining Arcus, Alex was a corporate associate at Freshfields in London, where he worked on a wide range of cross-border corporate, finance and capital markets transactions. Bob is a Senior Adviser to the International Capital Markets Association and chairs the Asset Management and Investors Council. He has worked in the asset management industry for over 40 years at Rothschilds and then at Credit Suisse where he was responsible for managing a significant part of their asset management businesses. Arndt Rautenberg

Arndt started working with Arcus’ telecom origination team as an independent industry advisor in 2017, assessing specific opportunities in the Telecoms industry. Arndt is the founder and Managing Partner of Rautenberg & Company. He has long-standing experience in advising financial investors and their portfolios, but also mid-size companies and corporations. His special expertise is in transactions and in corporate finance as well as in strategy development and implementation, particularly in the TMT industry. He started his professional career in 1994 with Boston Consulting Group, having completed his studies of business administration at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and at Georgetown University. In 2000, he founded a technology investment and consulting firm together with two partners, which he later successfully sold to Sapient Corp., a NASDAQ listed technology corporation based in Cambridge, USA. After several years as a board member of Sapient, Arndt became a Board Member of T-Systems and soon thereafter the Chief Strategy Officer at Deutsche Telekom, where he was responsible for both the group’s strategy development as well as portfolio management. Since leaving in 2008, Arndt has placed his emphasis on advising financial investors and mid-size companies in all phases of a transaction.
