Daniel was part of the founding team of Arcus in 2009. He co-led the successful takeover of Brisa in 2012 and its subsequent de-listing in 2013. As a member of Brisa’s Executive Committee, Daniel has played a key role in the day-to-day management of the business and continues to be actively involved. Prior to Arcus, Daniel was part of Babcock & Brown’s European Infrastructure Team in Lisbon. Before that, he held senior management positions at Credip – Instituição Financeira de Crédito and Caixa Banco de Investimento, where he served as Head of Project Finance. Between 2000 and 2008, he was directly responsible for structuring the bank’s project finance transactions in Portugal, across both debt and equity. Daniel began his career at Caixa Geral de Depósitos in Lisbon and holds a Management degree from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.
